Eligibility Criteria for Officer Scale I (PO)
Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute. Preference is given to candidates holding a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy. Proficiency in the local language of the state applied for is mandatory, and working knowledge of computers is desirable.
Selection Process
The selection for IBPS RRB PO 2026 is conducted in three stages.
Prelims Examination is the first stage for all posts and consists of objective type questions in Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.
Mains Examination is conducted for shortlisted candidates and includes Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English or Hindi Language, and General Awareness with focus on the banking sector.
